Gluten-Free Orange Pancakes with Wild Blueberry-Orange Sauce

IMG_1545.jpg

Love blueberries? Please then tell me you’ve tried wild blueberries! Weren’t aware that all blueberries are not created equal? It’s true!

Wild blueberries are wild (obviously – hence the name), smaller in size, packed full of antioxidant power because of their smaller size + less water content, and have an extraordinary flavor! Wild blueberries may be small but they are mighty! The blueberries most of us are most familiar with are cultivated blueberries, bigger in size, and have less antioxidant power due to their bigger size + increase in water content. Plus, when you compare wild blueberries verse cultivated blueberries per pound, you get more wild blueberries because they’re tinier – makes perfect sense, right?
