Nuttz for NuttZo!
I recently received a jar of the original NuttZo and couldn’t wait to tell you about it! I was delayed in trying it due to our family’s stomach bug, but once all was well, it was time to give it a go!
Of course the first thing I tried was toast with NuttZo and Jelly! I had to see how it holds up to the typical Pb&J…

First off, I loved the flavor. NuttZo original contains simple organic ingredients: peanuts, cashews, almonds, brazilian nuts, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, hazelnuts, and sea salt. Two tablespoons has only 1 gram of sugar, 5 grams of protein, and 3 grams of dietary fiber. Plus, NuttZo is a high source of ALA Omega 3′s! So the flavor is great and the spread is slightly chunky. And good thing about that 1 gram of sugar, because girl likes her jelly! (At least it’s homemade!)
Once I tested out the NuttZo & Jelly combination, it was time to take my NuttZo adventures up a notch.

Sometimes I make a microwavable cookie as my evening snack (to share or not to share) and sometimes I make them for a filling breakfast (without the extra chocolate). Using NuttZo Original in this recipe was incredible!
NuttZo Microwavable Cookie
- 3 tablespoons NuttZo Original
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey or agave
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Sprinkle in extra nuts, seeds, bits of chocolate, or cinnamon
Directions: Stir it all up in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1:40. Gently flip cookie out of bowl (with the help of a spoon) and place on plate. Top with nothing, more nut butter, or a (big) dazzle of chocolate sauce). Enjoy!!
NuttZo also makes a peanut free flavor and a chocolate flavor! I bet those would both be great variations of the microwavable cookie.
How do you like your NuttZo!?

Great recipe! I like the NuttZo right out of the jar, this will be a new way to try it out.Thanks.
I am DYING to try Nutzo!! this looks soooooo goooood!
I JUST pinned this recipe for future use — possibly this weekend since I’ll be snowed in and looking for stuff to try
I’ll have to swap nutzo for something else since I don’t have any, but I’m sure I can improvise right?? mm!
Love Nuttzo! Anything it’s on is fabulous but I prefer it straight up out of the jar. yum!
This sounds awesome! I just looked it up on amazon, I wish they had smaller containers for me to do a trial of!
This is a wonderful, quick way to make fun cookies in the Microwave! It’s Nuttzo alright.
