In my last post about the Polar FT40 heart rate monitor, I mentioned wearing it while weight training. I think the Polar is especially helpful because it tells you if the main effect of your exercise if fitness improvement or fat burning. I thought it was so neat to see how much fat weight training can burn!
This 20 minute {or less} circuit workout burned off 143 calories, 32% of which were fat calories. This circuit workout only took me 17:14 minutes. I was satisfied with the workout because I wanted to squeeze it in, but mentally I wanted a third group to complete! Nonetheless, this is a perfect at home workout if you have a exercise ball and some free weights.
