Weekly Wrap: 9/16-9/22

HH posts of the week:

This week was quite the celebratory week over here! Xander turned 6 months old, John and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary, and my mom turned another year young! In addition to all the celebrating, I was able to share a guest post from my high school friend, Daniele, about her experience with the Beachbody program Insanity.

I can’t believe Xander is so old already! It seems like a month or two ago that you were announcing you were pregnant. Crazy! My weekend was great! I hit 6 miles in training for my second half marathon and this week is my 1st “blogiversary”!

    Hi Katie!
I just started reading your blog to get some insight on being a mom and staying fit and active throughout the upbringing of a child. I am recently engaged and thinking about parenthood but it scares me a little! I nanny a lot and the little boy I watch has had a bad case of temper tantrums in the last few months. The other day I took away a toy he had been chewing on and I couldn’t seem to calm him for OVER two hours! This is the advice I was told to use: http://bit.ly/Vxzqel. I think it’s great, but I’d love to hear your opinion and how you have handled those events. Stay awesome! I love your blog. :)

Hi Tiffany! Thanks for the link. I’ll keep that in mind for the future. I definitely wouldn’t call what X is having a tantrum – he’s only 6 months. He doesn’t know any better at this point! I think we just have to get him used to being away from me a little more – which is tough to do since I’m a stay at home mom. I’m also going to try and time this upcoming weekend’s run better! Thanks for the video!
