Alexander John Heddleston
Xander was born Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 1:18 am, weighing 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19.75 inches in length. Edited to add: we went to Xander’s first pediatricians appointment on Monday and his length is actually 18 3/8ths inches. What a little peanut!!
We arrived at the hospital at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, March 14 and after a quick labor, our bundle of joy was born! I’ll be writing up my (quick) birth story soon. Here are some pictures from Xander’s first few days of life.

Sigh. What a precious baby — we are so in love with him. Baby, Daddy, and I are doing really well. Thank you everyone for your well wishes over the weekend, these have been the best days of our lives!

PS. I had no idea that I would go into labor the same day as I posted the Baby Heddleston baby pool — wishful thinking, maybe? It’ll be fun to tabulate the results!
