Sunshine State : Thursday Recap

My morning started off with another 5 mile run. I was a little slower today than on Tuesday, but it was definitely hotter running around 10 am verse 4 pm. I ran 5 miles in 49:33 — a 9:53 pace. Still good, but I definitely need to get out on the trails early Saturday morning!

The picture on the right cracks me up because I was literally trying to keep the sweat from running into my eyes. I took my visor off right when I got in the house, but then my eyes began to sting! Yikes!

After getting rinsed off and waiting for my brother to get home, we grabbed lunch in Clearwater at Frenchy’s Rockaway. It was right on the beach that we visited afterward.

I ordered a yummy seafood salad that was served over a bed of cabbage with tomatoes and avocado. It was supposed to be served in a tortilla bowl — which looked super yummy — but it was a flour tortilla, so I couldn’t have it, boo.

After lunch we soaked up some sun…

Isn’t Michelle the cutest pregnant lady ever? I just think she’s adorable! Can’t wait to meet the little girl — so soon!

Want so know something interesting about Clearwater beach? George said that they import all their sand! He thinks it’s sand from the Caribbean — it really did feel nice — I just thought it was strange that they have to import sand. Guess I’m used to my New Jersey beaches!

My evening included a stupendous nap and plenty of relaxing with Michelle — George had a work meeting. Anyway, catch you tomorrow with another recap!

How was your Thursday??

PS. I am keeping up with reading blogs but I am not commenting as much in order to save time. So just know that I’m thinking of all of you blends! xo
