One of my best friends, Amy, first introduced me to these beauties during my Bachelorette Party. We were having a pot luck for dinner and this was one of her contributions! My mom and I recreated the recipe a few weeks ago when I was home in PA for a jewelry party. I’m also bringing these over to Alicia’s tomorrow — it’ll be the first time our husbands meet!
Are you wondering about the string cheese? It is cheaper and still tastes great! Plus you can find part-skim string cheese and I haven’t seen part-skim fresh Mozzarella pearls.
Have you ever made Caprese anything? I love all variations of Caprese appetizers!

you forgot on your “you will need” list – an awesome tray to put them on! that looks beautiful!
I *LOVE* caprese everything… a grilled caprese sandwich, caprese salad, skewers, YUM. especially during the summer, when I have fresh romas and basil in my yard, you probably cannot come to my house without eating caprese SOMETHING.
Ha, guess you will need a tray! Thanks for the compliment… that’s one of my mom’s trays (should I steal it? hehe)
YUM! This looks incredible. I love, love, love this combo, but would have never thought to put them on spears!
Makes them super convenient to eat and enjoy!
I pretty much love anything with balsamic! Have fun at Alicia’s!
Yum! Love caprese salad. Also love that they are red and green for the holidays.
I was thinking that too — very festive!!
