I think the whole blogosphere took a vacation over Thanksgiving, so here is what you missed:
- My Food Thanks featuring some of my twitter friends!
- My Praises of Thanksgiving including my husband, family, friends, food + more!
- Recap of my first Turkey Trot in my hometown Hollidaysburg.
- Andd, I made a half marathon collage , which will be on the cover of my running log!
I also have two posts that you may want to refer to during the December holidays:

My Next Half Marathon

I will be running in the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, taking place on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in Indianapolis. The mini has sold-out for the past nine years with 35,000 registrants. The mini-marathon is the largest half-marathon in the U.S., and the seventh largest running even in America.
This race will certainly be a big difference from my first half with 700 registrants. I’m really excited to experience such a big event, but I think I should sign up for a big 10k or 15k prior to this race. Indianapolis is also a perfect location because my sister recently moved there, and this provides a built in visit to one of my most favorite people!
I’ve been thinking about my 2011 running goals and hope to share a post soon!
What you run the mini-marathon in Indianapolis? Are you thinking about you 2011 running goals yet?

Good for you! My goals for 2011 are just to keep running! It’s exciting to see how far you can improve in one year.
I found you through a #foodthanks link! I really love your half marathon collage–how fun.
Aww thanks!!
You are going to love running a big race! The largest race I ran was like 19,000ish and that can’t even compare
If you want, you can run the Hermes Cleveland 10 Miler on April 23 with me to prepare! I ran it last year (at that time, that was the biggest race I ran with like 3,000 people, lol), but it was the perfect race for me to run right before my first half a few weeks later!
It’s a plan!!! Can’t wait to have a bigger atmosphere!
How do you handle seeing your family while running when it’s bigger?
It is so fun running a big race and all the people that cheer for you! I agree, I think everyone did take a vacation, me included!
Everyone totally did! I think some are still on it
It’s fun to see my stats the last couple days — how the further away from Thanksgiving we go, the more they increase back to normal lol.
