Before and After: 10 lb. Weight Loss

I’ve been wanting to show before and after pictures for awhile now and finally I am doing it. Still, almost can’t believe I’m showing the before picture… but that’s the only way you can appreciate the after. Here goes… my ten pound weight loss.



I notice the weight loss mostly in my stomach and face. My arms also look more defined. I think my legs might be more toned but I wish I was wearing the same shorts in both pictures. Anyway, for another image…

Not only did I start limiting my “treats,” I vamped up my workouts–including my quest to become a runner. So far it seems to be working–not just in terms of weight–but in terms of stamina, pushing through mental blocks, and regularly working out (if not everyday, 5-6x/week).

    Since 3/22, I’ve lost 18.4#…did it by planning what I would eat, using iPhone app to record meals/snacks, and lots of walking – treadmill, walking paths, local university campus, etc. But I haven’t started consistent weight training, so you’ve inspired me to get that going!

      Thanks Carolyn and congratulations to you!! Your iPhone app sounds awesome–I just have a little notepad that I write down what I eat on it. I think monitoring what we eat is an important aspect in weight control and weight loss–makes me not want to have seconds on foods that I shouldn’t have seconds on, haha. Keep up the good work and email me if you have any specific questions :)

    I lost 30 pounds! Took me a while thought because I love to eat =p haha. But it’s just recently that i started noticing that my muscles are much more defined now since i started weight lifting. The biggest thing I think I had to do was cut down on rice (mainly chinese food because that’s all my family cooks)
